Benefits of MembershipNetworking: A great benefit of Chamber membership is the opportunity to network with other Chamber members at breakfasts, luncheons, grand openings, open houses, and any other Chamber sponsored events such as the Golf Tournament, Farmers’ Market and Lifestyle Expo, just to name a few. We host a New Member Reception twice a year. These are all excellent opportunities to network and we remind our members to always bring business cards. Membership Directory: Members are provided with a Membership Directory. They are free to phone, mail to, email, visit or communicate in any way possible to promote their business within the membership group. Member Logo: You can use our logo on your business cards, advertising and even letterhead. This is an important benefit as it adds credibility to your business. Email Service: The Chamber provides a fax/email service to our members. Provide us with an electronic copy of your event, sale, or just general information, and we will fax and email to all our members. The cost is $75.00 plus GST. Address Labels: The Chamber provides address labels for the total membership if you want to do a mailing. The cost for labels is also $75.00 plus GST. Special Event: The Chamber would be happy to participate in your grand opening, anniversary celebration or just a special event. We would attend and cut the ribbon (if you wish to have a ribbon), or present you with a plaque. We also email and fax the details of the event to all members - at no cost to you - and will post the event on the electronic sign for 2 weeks prior, again at no cost to you. Mailing greetings: such as “welcome to the Chamber” to a new Chamber member is a great idea! Not many members do it, so you will be remembered. Promotional Material: Feel free to send your promotional material to the members. If some members do not want to receive it, they can tell you and you can always take them off the list. Employee Benefits: The Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance Plan is Canada’s #1 leading plan for small firms of 1 to 50 employees. It is designed exclusively for Chamber members only, and includes life, dental, drugs, disability and Best Doctors program. Business cards: in the business card rack at the Chamber Office. This is a busy place as we share the office with the City of St. Albert, Economic Development and the Tourist Bureau. Electronic Sign: There are special member rates to advertise on the electronic sign. The sign is low cost advertising and is great for name recognition. Member Rates: There are special member rates to participate in the Lifestyle Expo, Job Fairs and many other Chamber events. VISA, Mastercard and Interact Discounts: You can get VISA for as low as 1.69%. We find that more and more businesses are paying for services by credit card.
