St. Albert`s Perron District is the heart of our City, and the official Arts & Heritage District of St. Albert. With an active business community serving the needs of a diverse group of shoppers, exciting restaurants offering a range of menu choices, an exceptional group of galleries and studios and an impressive museum, the downtown has much to offer for residents and visitors of all ages.
The Perron District is also a gathering place year-round as people come together to enjoy the St. Albert Farmers’ Market, to host the children of Alberta at the Northern Alberta Children’s Festival, to cheer on the Rainmaker Rodeo Parade, to celebrate the cars and music of bygone years at Rock’n August, and to welcome the joys of the festive season at the Downtown Christmas Lightup.
The St. Albert Chamber of Commerce Downtown Committee is an active group of business leaders, working diligently to improve and promote the Downtown. Working closely with the City of St. Albert, the group plans activities and events, works on strategic planning for the area, and initiates new incentives for downtown growth and prosperity.
