A night of excellence deserves a look to match — black tie attire

Award Process

Being nominated for an award is just the first step! Follow the steps below to maximize your nomination by attending events, participating in activities, and connecting with fellow nominees and community business leaders.

Our Chamber Awards aren’t based on votes - they’re based on involvement. Nominees are interviewed, and the more you participate, show up, and engage in the business community, the stronger your chances of winning!

Step Two - Qualify

Step One - Be Nominated - Nominate as many locally owned and operated businesses and organizations in our community as you'd like!

Step Two - Qualify - Nominees will be notified by a St. Albert Chamber Staff member. To be eligible, nominees will need to answer a few short questions.

Step Three- Judging - Nominees will meet with a panel of judges that consists of community leaders, past winners, and business owners who will determine the winner based on one-on-one interviews.

Step Four - Community Involvement - This is the time to spread the word that you are a nominee! At every event attended during Business Excellence Week, all nominees will be recognized!

Step Five- Awards Gala - Join us at the Business Excellence Awards of Distinction as we announce the 2025 Business Excellence Award Recipients.

Business Excellence Events

We have a variety of events you can register for, each offering a unique opportunity to gain exposure for your business. We highly recommend attending all of them, as each event brings something different to the table.

Please note that the Mixer is an exclusive event, open only to nominees and sponsors.
