2023 Chair’s Lunch

The St. Albert Chamber of Commerce would like to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who attended our 2023 Chair's Luncheon yesterday. It was a pleasure to have Mike Howes officially sworn in as our Volunteer Chair by Mayor Cathy Heron. Mike, the President of Sparklean Restoration located in Riel, is a long-term resident of St. Albert and chose to raise his family here. He is currently a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, a committee member of the Riel Business Park Committee, and the Past President of Rock N’ August. He previously served as Chair of the St. Albert and District Chamber of Commerce Board in 2010. His extensive experience and community involvement makes him a valuable asset to the Chamber and the local business community.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our deep appreciation for the contributions of our outgoing Chair, Garry Wetsch. Garry's dedication, passion and unwavering commitment to the Chamber and the business community have been invaluable to us. He has been a valuable voice for the Chamber and a tireless advocate for local businesses. We are grateful for his service and look forward to his continued guidance as he assumes his position of Past Chair.

We are also thrilled to welcome our new members to the Chamber family:

  • Africans & African Descents in St. Albert
  • Erin Finlayson Mortgages
  • JLM Solutions
  • Oil City Signs (New Ownership)
  • Vital Health Reboot

We look forward to working with these businesses and supporting their growth and success in the St. Albert community.

As always, the St. Albert Chamber of Commerce remains committed to promoting and supporting local businesses and we look forward to another successful year ahead.
